Berikut ini grafik IHSG kondisi setelah penutupan sesi I, Kamis 29 Oktober 2009. Bila diihat dari rally awal Maret 2009, sangat jelas terlihat IHSG masih bullish apalagi kondisi terakhir masih berada jauh di atas koreksi 38.2% (Fibonacci). Saat ini low nya IHSG berada di 2235, sedikit di atas batas garis koreksi 25% di 2230 seperti terlihat pada gambar.

Walau demikian, secara TA, IHSG berada dalam fase/tahap koreksi sampai chart mengatakan sebaliknya. Sampai ke level berapakah koreksi akan berlangsung? Masih terlalu dini untuk bisa ditentukan. Dalam kondisi koreksi seperti ini, para trader yang main pendek cenderung akan memanfaatkan situasi dengan sell on strength sampai chart menunjukkan tanda-tanda ada kekuatan untuk mencari high baru. Tanpa ada terlihat kekuatan itu, para trader akan cenderung melakukan tindakan sell on strength. Setiap technical rebound yang terjadi akan dimanfaatkan untuk melakukan posisi sell sampai chart mengatakan sebaliknya.
